Welcome Message

On behalf of the organizing committee, we are honored to announce that the 16th International Symposium of the Institute Network for Biomedical Sciences and the KEY FORUM 2021 International Symposium entitled “The Front Lines of Biomedical Research on the Nervous System” is scheduled for the 11th and 12th of November, 2021 at Kumamoto University. The symposium is a hybrid of the institute network symposium consists of the speakers from 12 network institutes and the KEY FORUM symposium with 3 international invited speakers and those from 4 KEY FORUM member institutes. The symposium is held by a hybrid system of the local talks and the web talks, considering the transitional period of the pandemic outbreak of COVID-19. Due to time constrains, the schedule is quite tight and each presentation is shortened from usual. We sincerely apologize for that.

We hope that you will enjoy science through this rare hybrid system, and also local meeting after long interval if you are in Kumamoto. We also hope that we will have the opportunity to hold the scientific meeting in the conventional manner in near future.
